What it is

AssetLens Local is designed for the moment when an image library has outgrown folders and filenames. It turns scattered local media into a visual workspace that is easier to browse, search, de-duplicate, and curate.

Privacy and ownership are central to the idea: the user keeps the working library and its searchable index on their own machine.

How it works

The app builds a local catalog from selected folders, then layers text recognition, visual similarity, duplicate awareness, and reviewable metadata over the original files. Search results explain why an asset matched so people can work with confidence.

  • Turns selected image folders into a searchable local library
  • Combines words, visual relationships, and human-approved metadata
  • Supports review, export, backup, and safe index management
